The truth about Giving and your Christian Faith.

Giving is an act of faith. Giving is a revelation. Giving is the demonstration of your love for the Lord. You can not love without giving. God showed us an example of this when He gave Christ. The bible is very clear when it comes to giving. If you do not give, you will not receive. It is like holding a corn seed and asking to receive maize before you plant it, it does not work that way. You must plant if you want to reap. I am a giver and a Partner and I am glad for the opportunity to be one. The bible says Give and it shall be; 1. Giving unto you. 2. Good measures. 3. Pressed down, 4. Shaken together. 5. Running over. 6. Shall men give into your bosom. So giving is indispensable. There are also different kinds of giving though.

Apart from your Tithe which is really not a gift but an oblation, every other giving is determined by you. Then what happens when you are coerced into giving? What happens when giving is emphasized above the salvation of the soul of the Giver? What happens when you do dubious things just to make money to give? What will you give for the exchange of your soul? Why mortgage your eternal life buy ungodly acts, just because you want o impress someone else? You should understand that you are not in competition with anyone, but yourself. Always try to outdo your past. Upgrade, improve and top-up but do it rightly.

When you face God on the last day, your Pastor, Reverend, Priest, Imam, Leader will not be there to defend you before God. It is going to be you and the Lord. What excuse will you give for all the dubious things you did just to make money to give? Leaders in congregations, should try and go beyond receiving seeds and find out how some members make their money. God is not a man and His ways are pure. Of all that you can give, your soul is the most important. Dont be pushed into unholy actions and activities because you want to give money in the house of God or anywhere else. If you are forced to give and you give my murmuring, you will not receive the blessing. Give cheerfully and joyfully and God will always reward you. His reward is better than man's reward no matter who the man is. May this minister to your soul.
